Life turned upside down for Bessie Elmore in 1992 when her son William was sentenced to natural life in prison.  She started a support group for people who had a loved one who was incarcerated.  Little did she know at the time that she was preparing herself for a career in reentry.

Addressing barriers around housing and employment, essential in demonstrating the ability to become a productive member of the community.  Temporary housing programs (12-18 months) offering life skills, peer support and financial literacy, to support stability for independent living.
